Route #017 - "50 < 36"

I have 3 different titles for this post. "Route to Work Research", "Sprint Workout" or "50 < 36". This route is helping me figure out which streets to ride if I want to take the 20 mile ride from my house to the office. I found out that there are a lot of stop lights along this route so the stop and go makes for a good sprint workout. And I learned that 50th street is worse that 36th street.

Route #017
Distance: around 13 miles

Notes:
- Nice easy ride. Traffic was not as bad as expected.
- 50th Street is much rougher than 36th Street.

Proposed Route to work: (I made this map before trying the last route)
Distance: around 20 miles

311 day!

It's March 11th which is why it is National 311 day! (at least in my head and probably a bunch of 311 fans)

Here is a playlist of the barely recognized band.

Two Lakes - two days in a row

I made it around again. I figure if in two months I am going to ride two days with 70 miles each day, I should be able to do somewhere around 30 miles two days in a row now. Either that or I have a condition where I am obsessed with making circles around bodies of water. Someone will have to look up the Latin and figure out that one.

I made a LOL

Two Lakes - Route #015 - too much too soon

I haven't ridden or worked out in a week. I then jump on a bike on a lunch break in 20 mph winds and nearly die. Alright, that is a little over the top. But kinda close.

I did the Two Lakes route today. The wind was not my friend.

Oh well. Onward!!!

Cheers,
