Crap it's hot out!

I need to go back through my posts and see which day in February I rode that was the coldest. I bet it was in the low 50's. I don't think I rode in 40 something degree weather. But today marks the hotest temperatures I've riden in: 96 with a heat index of 98. I went around the lake on this windless day. I better get used to it, too.

Anything of interest?

- Still a good number of cyclists
- significant drop in number of runners
- way more people roller blading

Would I do it again?

Probably will this Thursday.

Cheers,

I've seen many people referencing the HI number on hot days where they live. While I understand it's your way of contrasting our Yankee 'wind chill factor'... I don't understand the need to put it out there when it's only a degree or two difference. 96 with a HI of 98. 103 with a HI of 104. Really? Does it matter? I get it, it's hot. But what's the big diff between 96 & 98?? Just saying...

I don't care about the difference in 2 degrees. Just stating some facts. I just am trying to see if there is some statistic that stops people from riding. It cracks me up. If it is 90 one day and 80 then next, the "cold front" seems to put people back indoors.
