I think Friday was my first trip to Bluff Creek this year, on a bike. I've ran the trail more times than biked it. Sad, sad, sad. But I've only ran the trail twice. :) I'm looking back at what I've done so far and I've moved way towards road biking. I think it goes in waves though. When we have a dry spell and BC is dusty I'm sure I'll be out there 3 times a week. It just seems to be just wet enough during the week that BC would be muddy this year. I can jump on the road bike for a good ride the very next day after a good rain or freak snow. How many of those incidental blizzards? Three?
There is some good news for this summer. I found that there are trails near Sulphur, which is a place my family camps. Also, the wife's family is going to Colorado Springs again. We may make that trek up there the last week of June. I'm totally taking the road bike and mountain bike. We originally planned on going to Table Rock Lake, MO in May. But we may save our cash for Colorado. Good times.
