What (alchoholic) drink matches what type of rider?

This is a topic I can actually find little content. So I guess I get to make it all up myself! There is a fancy with booze/liquor/alcohol throughout the world. If Europeans and Americans can agree on anything it is that we love our hooch. But what drink do you drink or what bike do you ride say about you? Here are my preliminary results.

Road racers are all about the champagne. This is largely due to the Tour de France. It is not hard to find a picture of a Tour winner and a glass of bubbly. I think it is actually required by French Law.

MTBers seem to fancy the dark stuff, beer that is. We are not about cutting wieght or power-to-weight ratios. A couple extra calories help get you around the course a little better.

Those that ride the hybrid bicycles or utility cycles seem to fancy vino. If you do not know what I am talking about then Google Yuba Mundo. What else matches that except a case or box of wine strapped to the rear rack?

I guess the genre that I do not have any REAL input on is the triathlete. I'm guessing a hybrid mixture of vino and champagne? More research, (burp), is necessary.

Cheers,
